Meet Dr. Eipper-Mains

Jodi Eipper-Mains, MD, PhD - Lexington Psychiatrist

Dr. Eipper-Mains graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brown University and then attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, graduating in 2013. She completed her residency training at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program where she was chief resident of the medical psychiatry service. She followed residency with a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, completing an outpatient Women's Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry rotation during fellowship. She is board certified in both Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine/Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She also has a PhD in molecular genetics.

Following fellowship, Dr. Eipper-Mains worked as an inpatient psychiatrist at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA. Providing care to veterans was an incredibly rewarding experience. She served as the Chief of Inpatient Psychiatry prior to her departure and transition to outpatient care.

What else should I know?

Dr. Eipper-Mains works closely with all her patients to ensure they get the care they seek in a welcoming and judgment-free environment. During the initial consultation, she performs a comprehensive and personalized evaluation of each patient’s past psychiatric and medical history. She then works closely with each patient to develop a personalized, collaborative, and holistic treatment plan including a combination of medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions as appropriate.

In her spare time, Dr. Eipper-Mains enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, exploring restaurants, and being outside with friends and family. She has a particular fondness for growing tomatoes in the summer.
